Delivered via the ergonomic control centre, large wire payload, advanced electronics, automatic control of atmosphere, all in combination with our signature end-effectors.

Control Centre

Supervise RoboWAAM's operation from its front desk. Control all functions from the comfort of one place.

External wire storage

External bulk wire storage accommodating large spools (70kg) or drums (250kg), for longer uptimes and reduced operator intervention. Wires can be replaced from the outside without breaking the inert atmosphere (if global shielding is deployed).

Control Electronics

Our proprietary Control System is filled with our PLC and monitoring hardware, governing the machine from behind the scenes, connected to the control centre at the front.

Fume Management System

It provides best-in-class Health and Safety, with the containment of deposition fumes and on-board automatic fume filtration. Moreover, it enables global shielding for reactive metals, with automatic establishment and maintenance of inert atmosphere to user-defined O2 levels. The flexible enclosure system is also motorised to minimise purging time and cost.

Learn more about our End-Effectors

Much more than a welding torch needs to go at the end of a robot. Our end effectors measure temperatures, provide melt pool imaging, house ShapeTechTM, and with the local-shielding option they also protect reactive materials from oxidation. For PTA options, they also feature automatic positioning of the wire within the plasma arc, to further ensure consistent deposition.
